2010 UCI Road World Championships

Beaspoke Safety were appointed as the Safety Consultants for the 2010 UCI Road World Championships (OC). Their brief was to develop OHS policies & procedures, implement the contractor management system including the staff and contractor OHS handbook, develop the Emergency Management Plan in consultation with the OC as well as perform the on-site Safety Officer Role.

We were so fortunate to have Beaspoke Safety on our team for the World Championships. Bea worked with Event Operations to develop an OHS solution that met the scope of the event within a tight budget. Bea and her Safety Officers on site easily integrated into the overall event team which meant we could proactively work together to manage potential safety issues.

Bea also took on the role of managing WorkSafe on the event’s behalf ensuring we were always one step ahead to mitigate any likely safety issues and concerns. The best part of all is, not only do Beaspoke Safety know their business of safety, they have a positive outlook, have passion for what they do and are great fun to work with – it was a pleasure to work with them on the 2010 UCI Road World Championships.

City of Kingston

Having engaged Bea’s services only a short time ago, Kingston City Council have been overwhelmed by the level of service she has provided to our events. Bea’s professional and personable approach has meant that not only have we had a safe festival site, but that our volunteers have not been disgruntled by having to adhere to safety principles, and our contractors have been more responsive than ever. The documentation that Bea has provided is comprehensive and thorough, and she is always more than obliging to help us deal with any issues. Our processes are finally up to scratch, thanks to Bea, and we look forward to an ongoing working relationship well into future years.

Bea ran a very enjoyable session focused on OHS for events which included interactive group activities, case studies and practical exercises. Thanks much for yesterday- it was great. You are a very engaging trainer and we loved that it was so specific and practical.

Susan Harper,

After engaging Bea to conduct some staff training at ESP, we appointed Beaspoke Safety to work on the Football Australia World Cup Live Site presented by Optus. Through out the planning and activation process Bea worked closely with ESP and all event stakeholders (including Victoria Police, City of Melbourne, Ambulance Victoria and New Breed Security), ensuring the event was held to the safest possible standards and all stakeholders felt comfortable with the measures put in place. All three events went off without a hitch thanks to the effort and attention to detail Bea and her team put in.

Peter Jones Special Events

…..When we decided that our events needed some more experienced OH & S assistance, our company came across Beaspoke.  Beaspoke for us has aided our events by ensuring we are following correct procedures, are within compliance and covered in all aspects of OH & S regulations. The quality of work and attention to detail from Beaspoke, displayed pre, post and throughout our  events  is extremely impressive. Their ability to create a professional Risk Assessment from a bunch of run sheets and unknown details is remarkable. We feel extremely fortunate to have found Beaspoke and we look forward to maintaining a positive and productive relationship in the future with Beaspoke.

Needless to say, we highly recommend Beaspoke.

Thank you Bea .

Signcraft

I just wanted to say thanks to you and your team for both creating a safe environment for all to work in, while having the flexibility to allow the work required to be done in the time frame needed. I would like to send a special thanks to James who offered an open opinion and set guidelines to work within rather than just shutting us down. This knowledge of what is required by the client, an understanding of when we were able to complete works, suggesting a way to complete work within safety guidelines and achieve was valued.

You have a great team and I would look forward to working with you all again.

Matthew Barter,
Project Manager , Signcraft
