In the fielding team, the wicket keeper wears a helmet, gloves and pads. Though the helmet is the same as a batsman, the gloves are different as they are webbed. Most of the players use an inner gloves to protect the main gloves from sweat. The keeper is the only member of the fielding side who is allowed to use a glove, and the pads used by them are lighter than the batting pads for swift movement on the field. A close fielder is also allowed to use a helmet and a cricket box.
