Beaspoke Safety can provide your organisation with a tailored Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) that is effective and practical on all levels.

A typical OHSMS will cover over 25 different areas of polices and procedures within your business from OHS objectives & plans, to structure and responsibility, legal and other requirements, risk management, emergency preparedness and response and OH&S audits and review.

Our safety management systems also cover a variety of areas you may not have even considered including:

  • Health surveillance
  • Manual handling
  • Electrical hazards
  • Chemicals
  • Plant & equipment
  • Noise
  • Working at heights, and
  • Personal protective equipment

NB. This list is not exhaustive

Our gap analysis will quickly identify any areas for improvement, or those areas which need to be included, in your current OHS systems

Whether you already have existing policies and procedures in place and would like a second opinion, or need to update to current legislation, we are able to assist you and your team through our Gap Analysis process.

We review, investigate and assess your company based on:

  • Policies / Procedures
  • Work instructions, training records
  • Consultation evidence
  • Observations of site
  • Photographic evidence of hazards
  • Consultation with staff

We will then provide you with a written and photographic report (where applicable) and subsequent guidance of those aspects that need to be addressed immediately and through gradual implementation.

Beaspoke Safety will assist you in identifying and preventing hazards

As Event Professionals we take great pains to ensure our operations are compliant when onsite, but are we as compliant with our places of work, offices & warehouses? The high demand to deliver services onsite sometimes means extra OHS control systems need to be developed to cope with the impact at your base of operations. Beaspoke Safety offers safety audits for your base of operations and delivers policy & procedural solutions tailored to satisfy your changing needs.

Beaspoke Safety will assist you to take the necessary actions and for what may otherwise be extremely costly issues further down the track.

This list of services is not exclusive and can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Developing a Contractor Management System

It is vital to engage fully with your contractors to ensure that health and safety is properly managed. Beaspoke Safety can develop a contractor management system that ensures you able to track and identify what documentation is outstanding and allow you to identify who is proficient in safety and an excellent alliance with you.

In addition, given the risks associated with events, it makes good business sense to maintain and operate under appropriate systems to minimise the risk of breaching legislative, community and commercial obligations.

A site-specific Safe Work Method Statement must be prepared before any high-risk work is commenced

We will work with you and your team to identify the ‘high risk’ work and develop the appropriate statement in conjunction with those involved in the high risk work.

NB. A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is similar to a Job Safety Analysis (JSA), which has been widely used in Victoria. You may continue to use existing JSA formats providing you contain all the information required of an SWMS.
